Job Summary:
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, taking orders, and ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and seamless. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and front of house supervisor to deliver a seamless and enjoyable experience to all guests while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Present menus and provide recommendations based on guest preferences & specials
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Check in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and address any issues that arise.
- Process payments and handle cash accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to navigate a busy dining area efficiently.
