We are looking for a skilled and motivated Grill Person to join our culinary team at Great Gorge Golf Club.. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled foods for our members and guests, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, grill, and serve a variety of food items, including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and other menu items.
- Ensure all food is cooked correctly and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and direct any inventory needs to the Front of House Supervisor and kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and interacting with guests in a friendly manner.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a grill or cooking position, preferably in a golf club, restaurant, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a hot environment.
