Job Summary:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. You will create a friendly and inviting atmosphere, ensuring that customers have a top-notch experience, build repeat clientele, and ensure an overall great experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- Assist with training new staff members as needed.
- Stay updated on new drink recipes, trends, and promotions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and inventory.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (if required by state/country).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
